A macrobinocular viewplate was an armor attachment, affixed to a helmet. The viewplate offered the wearer up to fifty times magnification, and could be integrated with an external targeting rangefinder to display data including range and target movement in a full three-hundred and sixty degree radius. Boba Fett's Mandalorian armor incorporated a macrobinocular viewplate with an infrared scanner.[1]
