The Rebel Alliance Corps of Engineers,[1] or simply the Alliance Corps of Engineers,[3] was an organization within the Alliance to Restore the Republic that specialized in engineering and construction. Around 1 ABY, the Rebel Alliance Corps of Engineers began constructing Echo Base on the ice planet of Hoth—a project that would take two and a half years to complete.[1] Chase Wilsorr[4] and Major Kem Monnon served in the Corps.[3]
