A travois was a primitive vehicle used for transporting people and objects. It functioned by being dragged along the ground behind whatever was towing it. After Apprentice Legislator Harp Allor injured her ankle during a pathfinding class on Alderaan, Princess Leia Organa and the other members of the class built a travois to transport her.[1]
Behind the scenes
A travois first appeared in canon in the 2017 novel Leia, Princess of Alderaan.[1] It was first pictured in the novel's manga adaptation Leia Organa: Ordeal of the Princess.[2]
