Biography
- "In this time of crisis, our king has something to say"
- ―Brother Lemcke announcing Lee-Char's speech
Brother Lemcke was a Mon Calamari on the water planet Mon Cala during the Clone Wars.[1] In 20 BBY,[4] Mon Cala king Yos Kolina was murdered, leaving his son prince Lee-Char to hold together a fragile coexistence between the Mon Calamari and Quarren people. Backed by the Galactic Republic, Lee-Char held a meeting with the Mon Calamari in the Mon Cala city square addressing the growing tensions between the Mon Calamari and Quarren—who were now led by Separatist commander Riff Tamson. During the meeting, Lemcke floated beside Mon Cala senator Meena Tills and Captain Gial Ackbar. Lemcke swam forward and announced that the prince had something to say before retaking their place next to Tills and Ackbar. Lee-Char acknowledged his people's doubts of his leadership and expressed his belief that the Quarren would not attack. The Quarren then attacked Mon Cala's capital of Coral City.[1]

Lemcke did not accompany Lee-Char and the other Mon Calamari leaders after the attack. During the battle, the Quarren people led by[3] chieftain[2] Nossor Ri changed sides and fought alongside the Mon Calamari to defeat Tamson. Emerging victorious, Lee-Char was to be crowned king.[3] During the Coronation of Lee-Char, Lemcke presented a crown held within a lee romay clam, blessing Lee-Char and stating that the might of his ancestors would give him strength. Ri placed the crown upon Lee-Char's head and Lemcke declared him[3] the 83rd king of Mon Cala, bringing peace to the planet.[2]

- ―A blessing given by Lemcke
Brother lemcke was a male Mon Calamari with blue skin and turquoise eyes.[1] During Lee-Char's coronation as king, Lemcke blessed the young prince.[3]
Equipment

Lemcke wore a tall smooth white headpiece with blue markings. They were shirtless but wore a white long-sleeved collared robe with blue cuffs. Lemcke wore a wrap around their waist and thighs over white pants with blue markings.[1]
Around Lemcke's neck they wore a necklace that held multiple ornaments including a cone-shaped ornaments in the center met by triangular shapes around the sides. Their long barbels were also adorned in ornaments.[1] Lemcke carried a flowing staff that functioned as a swimming aid.[2] During Lee-Char's coronation, Lemcke presented the crown of the king to Lee-Char within a lee romay clam.[1]
Behind the scenes

Lemcke first appeared in "Water War,"[1] the first episode in the fourth season of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which aired on January 27, 2012.[5] In the episode, they were voiced by Phil LaMarr, who also voiced Jedi Master Kit Fisto. While not stated in "Water War," Lemcke's name was provided in the episode's credits.[1] Lemcke was included in a lighting concept for the coronation scene.[2]
The fourteenth issue of the 2017 comic series Star Wars: Darth Vader—which was written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli and published by Marvel Comics[6] on April 11, 2018[7]—includes Lemcke in a flashback of Lee-Char's coronation wearing a closed robe and an incomplete necklace.[6] This is inconsistent with their depiction within the coronation scene in "Prisoners,"[3] The Clone Wars's fourth season's third episode that aired on September 23, 2011,[5] which features Lemcke wearing a full necklace and an open robe.[3]
